V-CONNECT MEDICAL LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclosure, and safeguard your information when you register as a Practitioner on the VCM International Trainer Scheme Platform.

By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2          Collection of Personal Data

We collect the following types of information to facilitate the matching of Doctors with Manufacturers:

• Identity Data: Name, gender, date of birth, nationality, and passport/ID information (for travel bookings).
• Professional Data: Medical qualifications, Annual Practicing Certificate (APC), CV, specialty, and career history.
• Media Data: Profile photographs and your Video Introduction (Video CV).
• Financial Data: Bank account details (for fee remittance) and tax identification numbers.
• Usage Data: Details of Tasks applied for, Points accumulated, and interaction with the Dashboard.

3          Purpose of Use

We use your data for the following purposes:

• Matching Services: To present your professional profile and Video CV to registered Manufacturers to assess your suitability for speaking or training Tasks.
• Platform Operations: To verify your identity and medical credentials.
• Payment Processing: To remit Event Fees and Annual Jackpot bonuses to you.
• Communication: To facilitate the internal chatroom functions and send system notifications (e.g., Task confirmations).
• Compliance: To comply with legal obligations under Hong Kong law.

4          Disclosure and Transfer of Data

CRITICAL NOTICE: The core function of our Platform is to market your expertise to Manufacturers.

• Registered Manufacturers: Your Profile Data, CV, and Video CV will be accessible to Manufacturers registered on the Platform. These Manufacturers may be located outside of Hong Kong. By registering, you explicitly consent to the transfer of your data to these global partners for business evaluation purposes.
• Service Providers: We may share data with third-party vendors who provide IT infrastructure, payment processing, or audit services.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information where required by law or court order.

5          Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. Access to sensitive financial data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

6          Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you terminate your account, we will retain data as necessary to comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax and accounting audits) for a period of not less than 7 years.

7          Your Rights

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong, you have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data held by us.
• Request correction of any inaccurate data.
• Withdraw consent for specific uses (note: this may affect your ability to use the Platform).
